The PEFC logo will appear on all the 35 magazines published by Hachette Rusconi. The Hachette Rusconi group, a publishing house part of Lagardère Active, is in fact the first Italian publisher - and among the first in Europe - to achievePEFC certification (Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification). This certification guarantees that the paper used to print the magazines is manufactured with raw materials coming from sustainably and ethically managed forests. The PEFC logo printed on all the magazines will moreover contribute to promoting to a large readership a more sensitive approach to sustainable forest management and correct use of natural resources.
Burgo, aware of his environmental responsibility, as well as of paper industry sustainability, is acting accordingly. Some of the Hachette Rusconi titles are printed on Burgo paper PEFC certified. Among these, the female weekly Gioia, printed on Uno Prime gloss, coated mechanical paper; the monthly Psychologies and Riders, both printed on Uno Bright gloss coated mechanical paper, for inside pages, and on R4 gloss coated woodfree for covers; the monthly Hachette Home, on Uno Prime gloss (text) and R4 gloss (cover).
